DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LAS VEGAS

Arrival in Las Vegas, after custom clearence and having picked up your luggage, you will proceed to the car rental Desk to pick up your car and drive to the reserved hotel.

Day 2: LAS VEGAS / ZION NP (Km 265)

Today you will start a journey among the most iconic American natural beauties. As you leave Las Vegas and its thousands attractions, you will drive through the Nevada Desert, then start climbing toward Zion National Park .  This Mountain gorge with a lenght of 24 km and a depth of 800 m, forged by the north branch of Virgin River is an unmissable stop in a tour of the Western parks, especially if you are a mountain panorama lover.

 

Day 3: ZION NP / BRYCE CANYON NP (Km 135)

With a short drive of less than 2 hours, you will continue the trip among Utah’s  Plateau, until you reach one of the most spectacular National Parks of the whole Nation. Bryce Canyon National Park, famous for the pinnacles of red rock so perfectly carved they look manmade, offers aswell forsests and beautiful valleys to visit.

 

Day 4: BRYCE CANYON NP / PAGE - Lake Powel (Km 240)

On the border between  Utah and Arizona, Lake Powell will surprise you with the beauty of the red mountains reflected on the water, a landscape made of natural arches and amazing corners as Horseshoe Bend, the hill around wich the Colorado river turns for almost 360 degrees, the beautiful Antelope Canyon, accessible by foot only, probabily the most photograhped canyon in the world.

 

Day 5: PAGE / GRAND CANYON NP (Km 340)

Today you will meet the King on National Parks. Arriving from Page, as you get closer to the park you will start understanding how different it is from all the places you have visited sofar. Your look,that has been pointing on mountains of various shapes until today, will start looking down on a split that goes up to 1857 M. deep and runs for  446km, its widht  going from  500 metres to 29 kilometers. You would need more than one week to visit all the park , South rim, where you will stop tonight,is the most spectacular and accessibile.

 

Day 6: GRAND CANYON

Full day at your disposal to explore the park. The Grandness and beauty are better appreciated from above. Don’t miss an Helicopter flight to get the best from this natural wonder.

 

Day 7: GRAND CANYON / SEDONA (Km 205)

When you think you’ve seen all of Arizona’s attractions, this State is ready to surprise you. So when you will get to Sedona, crowned by red rock mountains and bustling with a lively artistic scene with something mystic in it (New Age movement was born and is very propser here,) you will be fascinated by the atmosphere, even if you are not a fan of mysticism. The practice of New Age movement followers in Sedona consists to look for “vortexes” , these are points where the Sun concentrates its Energy and, if you reach them at sunrise or sunset, you will get all the Energy from the Sun. The panorama made of dark red rocks against the bluest sky you’ve ever seen wil conquer you, no matter what you believe in. An interesting local cuisine, including, plates as Fried Cactus completes the list of unique things in Sedona.

Day 8: GRAND CANYON / LAKE HAVASU (Km 410)

With more than 300 days of sunshine a year — and a unique mix of tranquil waters, rugged mountains, and tons of fun — it’s hard to stay inside. Everywhere you look, folks are hiking, biking, boating, fishing, golfing, offroading, shopping, dining and enjoying seasonal events.

 

Day 9: LAKE HAVASU / LAS VEGAS (km 245)

Today you will close your loop, returning to Las Vegas . The city awaits you with its thousands lights and lots of entertainment for your last night.

 

Day 10: LAS VEGAS (Fine del viaggio)

Leave your hotel and drop your car to the car rental counter, end of the journey.

• In ZION National Park Adventure and Adrenaline seekers will love to hike on the Angels Landing Trail  whos final part passes on a tiny space overlooking the cliff edge. The ones who love nice panoramas but  feels Dizzy  on high steepy passages, can take instead a long but quiter walk on the Observation Point trail.  The long walk will be compensated by the Majestic view of the valley from the top of these mountains.

• Don’t miss sunrise at Bryce Canyon,  the unique show of rocks changing their color from black to gray to yellow and finally to the red we see in pictures, will be one of the more intense experiences of this trip. You might extend your stay of 1 night to take extra time for hiking around the park.

 

• Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, located halfway between Bryce Canyon and Page is a little hidden jewel in the USA.  You will be able to see and walk among Pink Sand dunes surrounded by sandstone mountains in a landscape of incredibile beauty, it will be a short stop offering you a great experience.

 

• In Page  if you want to take spend and incredibile day on  a cruise on the Lake + an hike that takes you to the most famous arch Rainbow Bridge, take an extra day , to have the time to take the full day Excursion.

 

• Add a stop in Monument Valley (you might spend one night in one of the beautiful resort looking directly at the Valley or in the close city of Kayenta or leave very early in the morning from page to add this stop on your way to gradn Canyon) a stop you cannot miss if you are a Western Movie fan and one of the most iconic views in western USA.
