On a journey that begins in Montréal leads through the the Adirondack, known for its Olympic ski jumping, elegance and traditional kale resorts, take the bounty of food, beer and wine made locally and farm-to-table meals. Learn more about History as your travel the Hudson Valley and ends this journey by the hassle and bustles of Manhattan.
ITINERARY DESCRIPTION:
Day 1: Montréal
A transfer is included from the airport to the Hotel in Montreal. Our guide will meet the guests at the hotel – a hospitality desk will be organized at the hotel.
In the evening a little welcome drink will be ready for our guests to get to know each other and meet with our guide. No meals / evening at leisure.
Day 2: Montréal
Breakfast at the hotel.
Our guide will greet our group and also our local Guide who will introduce Montreal or let us say Montréal, the second largest french Speaking City in the World to our guests, from its 17th century french legacy to its English, Scottish and Irish influences and heritage, a real medley of European and North American influences, view its modern Downtown, McGill, Mount Royal and the Old Port of Montréal – our tour will be a four hour delight, scrolling the old cobblestones of the old town, a franco-canadiana lunch will be included for the satisfaction of our guests.
After lunch and some time to shop in the old town – the group will depart for the border, towards South, crossing the farmland of southern Montreal, entering New York State. A short stop at Amusable chasm reveals nature’s power in the roar of waterfalls. The destination will be ahead of us, the village of Lake Placid.

Day 3: Lake Placid
Breakfast at the hotel.
A better way to start the day with a little boat cruise on Lake Placid, a clear cold jewel in the heart of the Adirondack wilderness. At the Lake Placid Training Center, our group will enjoy a thrilling ski-jumping demonstration during lunch on an observation level at the top of the jumping ramp; panoramic windows provide fantastic views.
More to explore in the area and a walk along picturesque Mirror Lake, a erst on a typical Adirondack Chair will come a must that day.

Day 4: Lake George
Breakfast at the hotel.
A morning drive through the regions ends at Blue Mountain Lake, visit of the Adirondack Museum, lunch then after lunch, continue the drive to Lake George.

Day 5: New Paltz
Breakfast at the hotel.
From Lake George, head south, past farms, wineries and quaint villages, a stop at Bard College to view the performing arts center designed by Frank Gehry then stop for lunch at Red Hook then continue to New Paltz. Settle in our hotel and visit the old village, its French Huguenot heritage, old cemetery, church.

Day 6: Fishkill
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning relaxing visit of Monhonk Mountain House with lunch at the Victorian “castle” - our guide will present this splendid resort, some of our guests will relax in an Adirondack chair and and some will walk around the lake with our guide.
After lunch, the group will leave for Fishkill, en route to visit the Roosevelt National Historic Site, home of Franklin Delano Roosevelt(visit included), then continue to Fishkill.

Day 7: Tarrytown/New York City (Manhattan)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit (include) of DIA Art Foundation in Beacon, world famous art collection from the 1960’ to present. Then continue to Tarrytown and stroll the streets of Sleepy Hallow, lunch n Tarrytown then a visit of Washington Irving’s Sunnyside (included) where the legend of Sleepy Hollow and Rip Van Winkle were written. Then continue to the Big Apple, Manhattan.

Day 8: New York City
Breakfast at the hotel.
Full day tour of Manhattan (8 hours), our guide will introduce the group to the city that never sleeps… discover Midtown Manhattan with its world famous landmarks, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue, stroll on Fifth Avenue, visit St Patrick’s Cathedral, then continue towards Downtown Manhattan, through Chelsea, Greenwich Village, a lunch stop in Little Italy then after lunch a walk through Chinatown, part of the Brooklyn Bridge and Downtown Manhattan with Wall Street, the 9-11 Memorial (with its two reflecting pools).
This fantastic tour will end at the Empire State Building (tickets included) - our group will be able to stay as long as they wish and admire the views as far as the Ocean south and the Mighty Hudson North. Evening at Leisure / dinner is not included
Day 9: New York City
Breakfast at the hotel
Time to say Good Bye… to check out from the rooms, leave the bag at the hotel and do some last minute shopping or walk around the town… morning at leisure, then time to meet our guide for the last transfer to JFK airport.
