“Highlights” tour of our Canyonlands and the South West from Phoenix to Las Vegas.

ITINERARY DESCRIPTION:

Day 1: Arrive Phoenix Airport

Our Guide will meet the group at the airport, transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 2: Sedona and the Grand Canyon

Breakfast at the hotel then departure for some soul-stirring sights as we make our way to the Grand Canyon.

Visit the Montezuma’s Castle, the ancient Indian cliff dwellings of the Sinagua tribe, then a stop en route in Sedona, with the reputation to be one of the most beautiful place on earth, then through Oak Creek Canyon. The area, known for its spectacular landscapes, has been the setting of many movies. The days ends with a visit of the Grand Canyon.

Day 3: Grand Canyon & Monument Valley

Breakfast at the hotel then departure for Monument Valley.

Departure along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon into the Painted Desert, then continue on to spectacular Monument Valley, home of the Navajo Indian Tribe, and enchanted land of buttes and spires. Evening at Leisure

Day 4: Monument Valley – Page/Lake Powell – Kanab

Breakfast at the hotel then departure for the Kanab.

En route for Page and Lake Powell, one of the world’s largest man-made lakes. 

The Glen Canyon Dam took 17 years to fill up Glen canyon transforming the Colorado River into 186-mile-long Lake Powell fringed by fjord-like Canyons, it’s one of the largest man-made bodies of water ever created; there is no lake like it anywhere. 

Then leave Arizona and drive through iconic Utah Landscapes that have serviced as ideal locations for movie and TV westerns over the years: Kanab.

Day 5: Kanab - Bryce Canyon 

Breakfast at the hotel then en route to Bryce Canyon.

Bryce Canyon National Park – a wondrous land of pines, pinnacles and oddly sculpted formations known as hoodoos, resembling the towers of fairy-tale castles. Magnificent spires, tinted with shades of pink, oranges and red, put on a captivating show as the light changes throughout the day. Keep your eyes open for the park’s wildlife, elks, coyotes, marmots and prairie dogs.

Day 6: Zion National Park – Las Vegas

Breakfast at the hotel then en route for Zion National Park…

Our expiration will continue that day with Zion National Park… Picture yourself surrounded by spectacular scenery everywhere you look… Zion is one of Utah’s most breathtaking area with over 200 miles of picturesque trails meandering amidst soaring sandstone walls and incredible rock formations, ever-changing perspectives of the red rock wonderland…visit the Emerald Pools, fed by waterfalls cascading over the Canyon walls; and the Veil of Spring water trickling over Weeping Rock.

Then after this memorable morning visit of ZION National Park - the journey will continue across the vast vistas of the northeastern Mojave Desert. Then get ready for a bit of culture shock as we arrive in Las Vegas, Nevada… the city that never sleeps; it offers non–stop entertainment and fancifully themed Casinos to explore.  Evening at Leisure

Day 7: Las vegas

Breakfast at the hotel then departure for the airport
